Sunseeker Hellas supports design students
Official Sunseeker distributor for Greece, Sunseeker Hellas, supported a number of industrial design students from the prestigious Akto Art & Design College recently.
While attending the Design Lab exhibition in Hellinicon in May, the Sunseeker Hellas Technical team advised the students on glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) construction, a technique which is used to manufacture Sunseeker yachts.
The students, from Akto Art & Design College - the largest private educational institution in Greece in the area of Art & Design - had been set a project to design and construct two canoe-kayaks. The young team of designers benefited from the expertise of Sunseeker Hellas' Technical team and were enthusiastic to learn about the stages of production and design of a Sunseeker yacht.
Design Lab, the contemporary show for Architetural, Interior and Industrial Design, took place from 7th -10th May at the Hellenic Olympic Properties in Hellinicon, Greece. It showcases innovative materials, modern architecture, and industrial design, and is a major event in the calendar of the designing and architectural industry.
